Leslie Carter Named Executive Director Longleaf Liberty Park Senior Living Community
Vestavia Hills, Ala. (April 10, 2019) – Leslie Carter has been named executive director of Longleaf Liberty Park Senior Living Community, which is scheduled to open in August at 451 Liberty Parkway in Vestavia Hills.
“Over the course of her extensive career in senior living, Leslie has demonstrated a marvelous ability to create a warm and engaging culture while ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care,” said Michael Mays, president of Greenbrier Senior Living, the Birmingham-based management company that is developing Longleaf Liberty Park. “She’s the perfect leader for our new care-centered community.”
Ms. Carter brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, including a robust background in health and wellness and extensive management experience. She will be responsible for building a team of skilled professionals who will deliver on Longleaf Liberty Park’s mission of promoting residents’ physical, social, intellectual and spiritual growth, and she will guide the development and continued evolvement of the community’s friendly, welcoming culture.
The new community will include 68 bright, open-floorplan assisted living apartments and 27 senior-centric-designed memory care residences, and will feature unique amenities, including a sports lounge, outdoor patios with river views, several gourmet dining venues to support the community’s all-day dining philosophy, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an art studio, a theater and a library for fireside reading.
A Longleaf Liberty Park information center has been opened at 451 Liberty Parkway in Vestavia Hills to assist seniors and their families who are interested in learning more about the community.
